En- route one can divert to the Laspa Village and further to the northern glacier of Nandakot. Raikot is a beautiful place of camping, guarded by huge cliffs on both sides.

After early breakfast start trek to Martoli. Martoli is a scenic place situated at an elevation of 3,430mts above sea level. The route to Martoli from Rilkot is a steep climb of about 7 kms. Martoli was a part of the ancient silk route of Tibet in ancient times. After walking a few kilometers from Raikot the route divers to two paths, one going up & other going down. Burfu & Martoli are mid points of trek. See the ruins of old village of Rilikot while trekking to Milam village. Cross the river on a wooden bridge and walk for about half an hour to reach Burfu. After trekking for a few kilometers you reach Milam Village. It is the last village on the route of Milam Glacier is also one of the remotest villages of Uttarakhand state.
